Bed Bug Removal Indianapolis
You have probably heard the saying, “Don’t let the bed bugs bite” but what many people don’t know is that there are such a thing as bed bugs. Bed bugs are small insects that will feed on both animals and humans. They will feed on your blood while you’re sleeping and because of an injection they supply when biting you, you won’t always feel them feeding on you. You will simply awake to find many bites on the extremities of your body.
Bed bugs are about 1/4 inch long and typically a reddish-brown color. They are flat and oval-shaped and often hide in the seams of mattresses, box springs or even crevices and cracks of a bed frame. They are typically discovered by the bites found on a person when they wake up or by blood spots on the mattress or sheets.
Habitat of Bed Bugs
Bed bugs often live in small groups and can lay eggs. When a bed bug hatches it is only 1/16 of an inch long. Many times you won’t discover the nymphs because of their size. Female bed bugs can lay up to 7 eggs a week and can live up to a year without food.
This is one of the main reasons it’s important that you take proper measures to remove your bed bug infestation. In-store treatments are available for bed bug control but most times will not work. Our bed bug control experts can help you eliminate these biting pests.
